Lecturer shares her experience after spending a night at TB Joshua

A lecturer of the Imo State University has shared her experience after visiting the late TB Joshua's church.

Gloria Ernest-Samuel decided to speak out after BBC released a documentary exposing the alleged abuse the late preacher subjected members to.


She wrote: "I passed a night at Synagogue and l know TB Joshua wasn't a prophet of God."

She added: "It's good people are speaking out now. I told those close to me that he was not a Man of God."



Her friends reacted, asking why she kept quiet all along. Others pointed out TB Joshua's philanthropic activities while he was alive and she replied: "That he gave some people rice doesn't erase the fact that the man committed some despicable crimes. He used God 's name in vain. This is not the first time I am talking about his style of religion. He served another master other than God. That record should be well stated."

Twitter owner, Elon Musk, has said that the microblogging platform will soon be paying users for ads appearing when other people view their profiles in what comes as an extension of Twitter's monetization program. This offer is, however, exclusively for verified users, according to Musk. For creators on Twitter who are already getting paid for impressions on their content, the Twitter boss said the new monetization program would make it a double payout. Tinubu Signs Electricity Act 2023, Empowers States, Private Companies To Generate Power.

This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. The Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, has signed the 2023 Electricity Act which is a replacement for the Electricity and Power Sector Reform Act of 2005 into a law. The newly enacted law will de-monopolise Nigerian electricity generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity at the national level. This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. Recall that the Electricity Act 2023 was initially passed by lawmakers in July 2022 to allow the states to issue licences to private investors who can operate mini-grids and power plants within the state. But the Act precludes interstate and transnational electricity distribution. There is a small town on your way to Oyo, just behind Fiditi, it's called Ilu Ajẹ. Literally, it translates to "Town of Witches". In the late 80s,  there used to be a sign board in Fiditi that pointed to the path to the village,  the signboard had the inscription : "WAY TO ILU AJẸ, HOME OF SCIENCE!". Lots of people used to fear indigenes of Ilu Ajẹ because it was said that every man in Ilu Ajẹ is born of a witch, and every woman in ilu Ajẹ is a witch!. It was said some people visited Ilu Ajẹ to find out why a whole village would be populated by witches.
