I Think An Injection Led To My Son's Death - Mohbad's Father.

The father of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad has spoken about the death of his son.

In a video interview that went viral on Saturday, Joseph Aloba narrated, "I think the injection led to his death. I don't know the people that took him the hospital, but according to what I heard, he was vomiting after recieving the injection and that was when they decided to take him to the hospital. 


"I did not hear anything from the doctor because I was not there. They had returned him home when I met his body. So, I decided that they should  bring him to Ikorodu for his burial. My believe is that it's God that gives and it's God that takes.


"When he and Naira had issue, I can defend that my son was properly okay because that very day, I entered his house, prayed for him and he told me that he wants to go somewhere.


"On his way coming, one of his friends just came home and said that. He gave me the evidence that he was beaten up in the marlian house.


"When this issue was going on, I wanted to trek to Naira Marley's house but I was scared of what I will meet there. There was a time Naira Marley called me and when I tried calling him back, it was not possible.


"I heard a lot of things happened to him (Mohbad) but we cannot say it was Naira Marley. He was attacked when he was doing this new album with Zlatan, but the Naira Marley was not with those that came."

Federal Government May Raise Minimum Wage to N200,000, to Take Decision Soon.

There are strong indications that the federal government is favourably disposed to raising the minimum wage to as high as N200k per month as demanded by the organised labour in the country. However, state governors are urging for caution while Anambra State governor Charles Soludo has been asked to chair a Technical Working Group (TWG) to resolve the issues and its various dimensions. LEADERSHIP gathered that the matter was discussed at the last month's National Economic Council (NEC) meeting and it was there that the Salaries, Incomes & Wages Commission made a presentation on how the federal government can meet up with the demand of N200,000 per month minimum wage. Some hours ago, Nigerian music star Peter Okoye took to his verified Twitter page to share his opinion on the alleged divorce case of PSG star Achraf Hakimi, as his wife, Hiba Abouk, filed for divorce and demanded half of his property. However, in a surprising turn of events, the court informed her that her husband legally owns nothing, as all his assets are registered under his mother’s name. Peter Okoye said “I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story. I don’t get it. Ladoke Akintola University LAUTECH Bans All Students From Taking Cars To School.

Students of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso in Oyo State, have been barred from driving or bringing cars to the campus. The management of the institution also banned the use of tinted vehicles by staff members and students, adding that learner permits must be placed on the vehicles of beginner drivers. Unauthorized vehicles parked at various locations in the university are to be taken out with immediate effect. Registrar of the institution, Kayode Ogunleye said the decision was reached at a management meeting held on Wednesday, April 19. He said; "The University management at its regular meeting held, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, deliberated on the occurrence of traffic on the campus and decided as follows: "Vehicles owned by students are hereby banned from entering the university campus. He was asked how many seconds there were in a year and a half, he answered in about two minutes, 47,304,000.
