The Guinness World Records (GWR) has bestowed a new title on Nigerian celebrity chef, Hilda Baci, naming her ‘protector of the cookathon’.

Baci who was recently officially confirm as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual took to her social media account to show off her official plaque.

Recall GWR on the 13th of June, wrote via its official Twitter account: “After reviewing all the footage, we’re delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual).”

Baci now holds the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

On Monday, the 26-year-old Akwa-Ibom-born chef received  her Guinness World Record plaque for the longest cooking time by an individual.

Subsequently, she released an official portrait on Tuesday in which she posed with her Guinness World Record (GWR) plaque and shared the pictures on her Twitter handle.

Sharing the portrait, the Nigerian chef wrote: “Hilda Effiong Bassey, First Of Her Name, Breaker of Records.”

Reacting to her post, GWR proudly retweeted it and added their own title, tagging her as the protector of the cookathon.

The organization wrote: “Protector of the cookathon.”

Federal Government May Raise Minimum Wage to N200,000, to Take Decision Soon.

There are strong indications that the federal government is favourably disposed to raising the minimum wage to as high as N200k per month as demanded by the organised labour in the country. However, state governors are urging for caution while Anambra State governor Charles Soludo has been asked to chair a Technical Working Group (TWG) to resolve the issues and its various dimensions. LEADERSHIP gathered that the matter was discussed at the last month's National Economic Council (NEC) meeting and it was there that the Salaries, Incomes & Wages Commission made a presentation on how the federal government can meet up with the demand of N200,000 per month minimum wage. Tricycle Driver Strung Up For Killing Passenger Over #50 In Bayelsa.

A keke driver has been lynched to death shortly after he stabbed a young man named Douglas Joseph to death over N50. According to reports the incident happened in Yenizue-Epie community of Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. The passenger who was stabbed by the Keke driver, Douglas Joseph, 30, was a native of the community and a father of three. According to an eyewitness, the keke driver charged the passenger a fare of N150 which was supposed to be N100. The passenger, Douglas did not agree to pay the fare and it ended in a fight.
