In a new month communique released by ComToyex,signed by the Special Adviser and made available to news men in his office,this morning.Barr Nuru Kareem portrays the arrival of the new month as significant and a huge grace.


The Statement reads,

It is with great joy and sense of humility,I congratulate you all to have witnessed the beginning of another blissful new month and a period to celebrate our workaholic Nigeria workforce who had dedicated outstandingly most beautiful part of their living to rescue Nigeria economy in their different capacities on the annual may day celebration.

While I extend my beautiful greetings to you all,I urge us to continue in the part of love,harmonious coexistence and total cooperation towards the betterment of our dear State and Nigeria as a whole.

Mr. Albert. The governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Bassey Albert, has been sentenced to 42 years in prison for corruption. A Federal High Court in Uyo, on Thursday, convicted and sentenced Mr Albert who was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. He has been taken to Ikot Ekpene prisons, Akwa Ibom State , to serve his prison term. Mr Albert, a serving senator representing Akwa Ibom North East District, was accused of receiving bribes of 12 cars worth N254 million from an oil marketer, Olajidee Omokore, during his (Albert’s) tenure (2010 – 2014) as commissioner for finance in Akwa Ibom State. The convicted senator was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, the ruling party in the state, before he defected months ago to the YPP, where he secured the party’s ticket for the 2023 governorship election. WhatsApp periodically phases out older smartphones, so it's no surprise that this year around 50 devices will no longer be able to run the messaging app. This is the second time in the last three months that WhatsApp is phasing out support for a big chunk of Android and iOS devices. The last time happened in October when WhatsApp revealed it will no longer support iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, as well as no less than 40 Android devices from Samsung, Huawei, LG, Sony, ZTE, HTC, Lenovo, and Alcatel. This time around WhatsApp confirmed it will no longer support nearly 50 phones, including the Apple iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c. The rest of the phones on the list are made by Samsung, Huawei, LG, Sony, Lenovo, and ZTE. The reason these phones will no longer be supported is that they haven't been updated in a very long time.
