Aladikun Family from SAKI (Oyo State) Traces their ancestral origin to Ifon; visits Aromo Obatala of the Universe

ALADIKUN FAMILY FROM SAKI TRACES THEIR ANCESTRAL ORIGIN TO IFON; VISITS AREMỌ OBATALA OF THE UNIVERSE.

The representative members of the Aladikun family from Saki, Oyo State have visited the ancient Palace of Olufon of Ifon-Osun, Orolu Kingdom, Osun State, His Royal Majesty, Ọba Peter Oluwole Ipadeola Ilufemiloye, Akinyooye III to associate themselves with their ancestral source, which is Ifon Osun. 


The family embarked on a journey to trace their ancestral roots, leading them to discover their origin in Ifon Osun, Orolu Kingdom, Osun State. Their journey was guided by their lineage eulogy (oríkì), which provided vital clues to their heritage. Motivated by a desire to reconnect with their roots, the family set out to visit His Royal Majesty to associate themselves with their ancestral home.


Upon their arrival, the family members were warmly received by Kabiyesi who expressed his delight at their visit and the connection they sought to establish with their ancestral land. Kabiyesi commended their efforts to trace their lineage and welcomed them back to Ifon Osun, emphasizing the importance of maintaining ties with one's heritage.


During their visit, the Aladikun family pledged to contribute meaningfully to the development of Ifon Osun. They expressed their commitment to supporting initiatives that would benefit the town and its inhabitants, showcasing their dedication to giving back to their ancestral community. The visit concluded on a positive note, with both the Aladikun family and Kabiyesi looking forward to a strengthened relationship and collaboration for the progress of our beloved town.



A group of people including their King from a town in Osun State had earlier visited Kabiyesi Olufon for the same purpose. This is a further testament to the anciency of this deeply rooted community.
