 “Never trust a pastor” – Nigerian man warns after he was scammed by his church pastor (video).


In a video circulating on social media, A young Nigerian man shared his traumatic experience of being scammed by a pastor.


The man, whose identity was undisclosed in the video, recounts his regretful encounter with the fraudulent Pastor.



When asked about his biggest regret, the man wastes no time in expressing his disappointment, cautioning others with a warning:


“Never trust a pastor, I swear to God.”


He proceeds to narrate how he sold two plots of land to finance his dream of going abroad, lured by the pastor’s promise of assistance.


According to the man’s account, he paid for his flight tickets, accommodation, and other expenses, all in anticipation of leaving the country.


However, his hopes were shattered when he discovered that the entire endeavor was nothing more than an elaborate scam.


The man’s regret is visible as he reveals the hard truth of his ordeal.


He shared his frustration at being blocked by the pastor on WhatsApp and recounts his desperate attempts to contact him, only to be met with silence and rejection.


The video has since gone viral, generating a wave of responses from netizens online.


Many have expressed their sympathy and shared their own experiences, while others have called for accountability within religious institutions.

Mr. Albert. The governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Bassey Albert, has been sentenced to 42 years in prison for corruption. A Federal High Court in Uyo, on Thursday, convicted and sentenced Mr Albert who was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. He has been taken to Ikot Ekpene prisons, Akwa Ibom State , to serve his prison term. Mr Albert, a serving senator representing Akwa Ibom North East District, was accused of receiving bribes of 12 cars worth N254 million from an oil marketer, Olajidee Omokore, during his (Albert’s) tenure (2010 – 2014) as commissioner for finance in Akwa Ibom State. The convicted senator was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, the ruling party in the state, before he defected months ago to the YPP, where he secured the party’s ticket for the 2023 governorship election.
