Veteran singer, Inetimi Alfred Odon alias Timaya explains why he doesn't have a Nigerian girl, and why he wouldn't date a Nigerian man if he were a Nigerian girl.


The singer was recently featured in a recent interview with Beat 99.9 FM.

Speaking, Timaya explained that he doesn't really have a problem with Nigerian men, but if he were a Nigerian girl, he wouldn't date a Nigeria guy.

He noted that he doesn't have a Nigerian girlfriend.

According to Bayelsa-born singer, there's no fun in dating a person whose background, upbringing, and environment are similar to yours.

He opined that the relationship would be too toxic, like that between a police and thief.

Federal Government May Raise Minimum Wage to N200,000, to Take Decision Soon.

There are strong indications that the federal government is favourably disposed to raising the minimum wage to as high as N200k per month as demanded by the organised labour in the country. However, state governors are urging for caution while Anambra State governor Charles Soludo has been asked to chair a Technical Working Group (TWG) to resolve the issues and its various dimensions. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced that the Lagos government has received the first batch of electric buses for public transportation, making it the first state in Nigeria to do so. Tricycle Driver Strung Up For Killing Passenger Over #50 In Bayelsa.

A keke driver has been lynched to death shortly after he stabbed a young man named Douglas Joseph to death over N50. According to reports the incident happened in Yenizue-Epie community of Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. The passenger who was stabbed by the Keke driver, Douglas Joseph, 30, was a native of the community and a father of three.
