Veteran singer, Inetimi Alfred Odon alias Timaya explains why he doesn't have a Nigerian girl, and why he wouldn't date a Nigerian man if he were a Nigerian girl.


The singer was recently featured in a recent interview with Beat 99.9 FM.

Speaking, Timaya explained that he doesn't really have a problem with Nigerian men, but if he were a Nigerian girl, he wouldn't date a Nigeria guy.

He noted that he doesn't have a Nigerian girlfriend.

According to Bayelsa-born singer, there's no fun in dating a person whose background, upbringing, and environment are similar to yours.

He opined that the relationship would be too toxic, like that between a police and thief.

Twitter owner, Elon Musk, has said that the microblogging platform will soon be paying users for ads appearing when other people view their profiles in what comes as an extension of Twitter's monetization program. There is a small town on your way to Oyo, just behind Fiditi, it's called Ilu Ajẹ. Literally, it translates to "Town of Witches". In the late 80s,  there used to be a sign board in Fiditi that pointed to the path to the village,  the signboard had the inscription : "WAY TO ILU AJẸ, HOME OF SCIENCE!". Tinubu Signs Electricity Act 2023, Empowers States, Private Companies To Generate Power.

This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. The Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, has signed the 2023 Electricity Act which is a replacement for the Electricity and Power Sector Reform Act of 2005 into a law. The newly enacted law will de-monopolise Nigerian electricity generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity at the national level. This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. Recall that the Electricity Act 2023 was initially passed by lawmakers in July 2022 to allow the states to issue licences to private investors who can operate mini-grids and power plants within the state. But the Act precludes interstate and transnational electricity distribution.
