ADVERTISEMENT FOR TEACHERS RECRUITMENT EXERCISE


The Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has approved the immediate recruitment of teachers into Public Primary and Secondary Schools in the State. Consequent upon this, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the existing vacancies.


A. Applicants Requirements


1. WASSCE/NECO-SSCE/NABTEB with five (5) credits in relevant subjects not more than two sittings;


II. Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE);


Degree in Education or Basic Degree with PGDE, HND+PGDE;


IV. Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate and Computer knowledge will be added advantages.


V. Any other relevant qualifications.

In addition to the above, prospective applicants must also possess the following for the online registration:


1. A recent passport photograph (compulsory);


II. A functional mobile phone number (compulsory);


A functional email address (compulsory);


IV. Local Government of Origin (compulsory);


V. Birth certificate/Court declaration of age document;


VI. Attestation from three (3) referees;


VII. National Identification Number (NIN) and


VIII. A means of identification (compulsory) such as one of


the following:


a. National ID card


b. Voters card


C. International passport or


d. National Driver's license

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, regrets to announce the passing of Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, Chief of the Army Staff, at age 56. Twitter owner, Elon Musk, has said that the microblogging platform will soon be paying users for ads appearing when other people view their profiles in what comes as an extension of Twitter's monetization program. There is a small town on your way to Oyo, just behind Fiditi, it's called Ilu Ajẹ. Literally, it translates to "Town of Witches". In the late 80s,  there used to be a sign board in Fiditi that pointed to the path to the village,  the signboard had the inscription : "WAY TO ILU AJẸ, HOME OF SCIENCE!". Lots of people used to fear indigenes of Ilu Ajẹ because it was said that every man in Ilu Ajẹ is born of a witch, and every woman in ilu Ajẹ is a witch!. It was said some people visited Ilu Ajẹ to find out why a whole village would be populated by witches. Tinubu Signs Electricity Act 2023, Empowers States, Private Companies To Generate Power.

This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. The Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, has signed the 2023 Electricity Act which is a replacement for the Electricity and Power Sector Reform Act of 2005 into a law. The newly enacted law will de-monopolise Nigerian electricity generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity at the national level. This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. Recall that the Electricity Act 2023 was initially passed by lawmakers in July 2022 to allow the states to issue licences to private investors who can operate mini-grids and power plants within the state. But the Act precludes interstate and transnational electricity distribution.
