Inauguration of new King in Ifon Orolu Kingdom Ifon Osun

The Now King of Ifon Orolu land.

As the sound of gunshots and drumming has keep some people awake since 11 O'Clock last night Wednesday February 2024, till today Thursday morning same February, 2024.

The whole Ifon Osun has been celebrating there new king, King Peter Akinyooye of Ifon Orolu land, has just been inaugurated as the new King in Ifon Orolu.

Drummers are drumming, and there is no fight or killing in anywhere in the land of Ifon Osun as the Town is celebrating there now King.

People of Ifon Osun are so happy has the Town has no king for the past four years, which the Town only install there regent in two years back.

The people of Ifon Orolu has been praying for the King to live long on his throne and the renew era to favor all the indigenous of Ifon Orolu in home and diaspora, including the people who are not from the Town but come on for one or two business, may the new era favors us all.

There is a small town on your way to Oyo, just behind Fiditi, it's called Ilu Ajẹ. Literally, it translates to "Town of Witches". In the late 80s,  there used to be a sign board in Fiditi that pointed to the path to the village,  the signboard had the inscription : "WAY TO ILU AJẸ, HOME OF SCIENCE!". Lots of people used to fear indigenes of Ilu Ajẹ because it was said that every man in Ilu Ajẹ is born of a witch, and every woman in ilu Ajẹ is a witch!. Tinubu Signs Electricity Act 2023, Empowers States, Private Companies To Generate Power.

This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. The Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, has signed the 2023 Electricity Act which is a replacement for the Electricity and Power Sector Reform Act of 2005 into a law. The newly enacted law will de-monopolise Nigerian electricity generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity at the national level. This new law will empower states, companies, and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the country. Recall that the Electricity Act 2023 was initially passed by lawmakers in July 2022 to allow the states to issue licences to private investors who can operate mini-grids and power plants within the state. But the Act precludes interstate and transnational electricity distribution.
