You Never Rejected Me, Davido's Late Aide's Son Hails Singer On Birthday

Abdul Uthman, son of Davido's late aide, Obama DMW, on Tuesday appreciated the singer for taking care of him after his dad's passing.


Uthman made this known in a birthday note penned for the Afrobeats star, who clocked a new age on Tuesday.


On his Instagram page, Uthman wrote, "Dad, I'm writing this from the bottom of my heart. Keeping a promise is one of the hardest things in life! 


"You promised to help me since I lost my father. You never rejected me. You loved me just the way a father should love his child.


"Every video of us, you always saying 'my son'. Dad, my father would be so grateful for all you do for me! I love you so much. 


"There was a day I was so broken, but when we spoke, he didn't just solve my issue. He spoke to me, 'My son hope you really good'. These words are so genuine and lovely."


Obama DMW, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, died on June 29, 2021.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has told Igbos what to do if they want to see their embattled son and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, freed from detention. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written to the House of Representatives seeking the sum of N500 billion for palliatives to cushion the effect of the removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirits (PMS) popularly known as petrol. Tinubu in the letter also sought an amendment to the 2022 supplementary appropriation Act which will allow the Federal Government (FG) to source the money from the 2022 supplementary Appropriation Act of N819.5 billion. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, read the president's letter during plenary on Wednesday. FCT, Abuja - President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said 12 million families will get N8,000 over a period of six months to lessen the hardships faced by Nigerians as a result of subsidy removal. In a letter to the house of representatives read by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas during plenary on Thursday, July 13, Tinubu said it was support to enable poor and vulnerable Nigerians to cope with the cost of meeting basic needs. The letter was for approval of additional financing for the national social safety net programme scaled up by the national assembly.
