You Never Rejected Me, Davido's Late Aide's Son Hails Singer On Birthday

Abdul Uthman, son of Davido's late aide, Obama DMW, on Tuesday appreciated the singer for taking care of him after his dad's passing.


Uthman made this known in a birthday note penned for the Afrobeats star, who clocked a new age on Tuesday.


On his Instagram page, Uthman wrote, "Dad, I'm writing this from the bottom of my heart. Keeping a promise is one of the hardest things in life! 


"You promised to help me since I lost my father. You never rejected me. You loved me just the way a father should love his child.


"Every video of us, you always saying 'my son'. Dad, my father would be so grateful for all you do for me! I love you so much. 


"There was a day I was so broken, but when we spoke, he didn't just solve my issue. He spoke to me, 'My son hope you really good'. These words are so genuine and lovely."


Obama DMW, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, died on June 29, 2021.

Federal Government May Raise Minimum Wage to N200,000, to Take Decision Soon.

There are strong indications that the federal government is favourably disposed to raising the minimum wage to as high as N200k per month as demanded by the organised labour in the country. However, state governors are urging for caution while Anambra State governor Charles Soludo has been asked to chair a Technical Working Group (TWG) to resolve the issues and its various dimensions. LEADERSHIP gathered that the matter was discussed at the last month's National Economic Council (NEC) meeting and it was there that the Salaries, Incomes & Wages Commission made a presentation on how the federal government can meet up with the demand of N200,000 per month minimum wage. Some hours ago, Nigerian music star Peter Okoye took to his verified Twitter page to share his opinion on the alleged divorce case of PSG star Achraf Hakimi, as his wife, Hiba Abouk, filed for divorce and demanded half of his property. However, in a surprising turn of events, the court informed her that her husband legally owns nothing, as all his assets are registered under his mother’s name. Peter Okoye said “I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story. I don’t get it. Ladoke Akintola University LAUTECH Bans All Students From Taking Cars To School.

Students of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso in Oyo State, have been barred from driving or bringing cars to the campus. The management of the institution also banned the use of tinted vehicles by staff members and students, adding that learner permits must be placed on the vehicles of beginner drivers. Unauthorized vehicles parked at various locations in the university are to be taken out with immediate effect. Registrar of the institution, Kayode Ogunleye said the decision was reached at a management meeting held on Wednesday, April 19. He said; "The University management at its regular meeting held, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, deliberated on the occurrence of traffic on the campus and decided as follows: "Vehicles owned by students are hereby banned from entering the university campus. He was asked how many seconds there were in a year and a half, he answered in about two minutes, 47,304,000. Again he was asked how many seconds a man has lived who is 70 years, 17 days and 12 hours old, he answered in a minute and a half 2,210,500,800.  One of the men was working out the problems on paper, and informed Fuller that he was wrong, because the answer was much smaller.
