 I received another Honorary Doctorate Degree (Doctor of Arts) also yesterday from Hill City University Benin Republic. 🇧🇯 

I couldn’t attend the event as I was in Ibadan to receive Doctor of Creative writing (Honoris Causa) 

I was however well represented. 


I am indeed honored to receive representatives of Hill City University Benin Republic at our Lagos Office to present the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Arts (Honoris Causa).


Once again, I’m grateful to the Senate, Council, Staff and Students of HillCity University 🇧🇯 for considering me worthy of this Award. 

I thank Family, Friends, My Manager, staff of Mr Macaroni Ent and all Supporters and Well wishers of the MrMacaroni Brand.

Mr. Albert. The governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Bassey Albert, has been sentenced to 42 years in prison for corruption. A Federal High Court in Uyo, on Thursday, convicted and sentenced Mr Albert who was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. He has been taken to Ikot Ekpene prisons, Akwa Ibom State , to serve his prison term. Mr Albert, a serving senator representing Akwa Ibom North East District, was accused of receiving bribes of 12 cars worth N254 million from an oil marketer, Olajidee Omokore, during his (Albert’s) tenure (2010 – 2014) as commissioner for finance in Akwa Ibom State. The convicted senator was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, the ruling party in the state, before he defected months ago to the YPP, where he secured the party’s ticket for the 2023 governorship election. The father of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad has spoken about the death of his son. Assuming he died at an older age, we might have considered putting his body in the mortuary and taking it at a later date. WhatsApp will soon stop working on these iPhone and Samsung devices.

WhatsApp periodically phases out older smartphones, so it's no surprise that this year around 50 devices will no longer be able to run the messaging app. This is the second time in the last three months that WhatsApp is phasing out support for a big chunk of Android and iOS devices. The last time happened in October when WhatsApp revealed it will no longer support iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, as well as no less than 40 Android devices from Samsung, Huawei, LG, Sony, ZTE, HTC, Lenovo, and Alcatel. This time around WhatsApp confirmed it will no longer support nearly 50 phones, including the Apple iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c. The rest of the phones on the list are made by Samsung, Huawei, LG, Sony, Lenovo, and ZTE. The reason these phones will no longer be supported is that they haven't been updated in a very long time.
