SOLUDO BIDS FINAL FAREWELL TO FORMER GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE, LATE DR CHINWOKE CLEMENT MBADINUJU

Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo pays his final tribute to Late Dr CC Mbadinauju who passed away at the age of 77, the final burial ceremony was held at his country home in Uli, Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State . 

Mr Governor in his condolence speech recognized the former governor as a giant whose towering achievements still speaks till date, his great stride in Anambra state and Nigeria will never be forgotten. He consoles the family,the people of Uli and Anambra at large. 

In the same spirit, Mr Governor highlighted Odera's contributions to the state, including the construction of the House of Assembly Comples and Judiciary, Alex Ekwueme Square, Dora Akunyili  Women's Development Center, and the Anambra State University, now renamed Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu University. 

   

Governor Soludo acknowledged that even though there was strike during Odera's tenure but occurance should destroy all the great legacies he left behind.

"Odera is the governor that told Ndi Anambra that it will be well with the state, today we are here to tell him, it is well with his soul and he will be greatly missed" Governor Soludo said.

Mr Governor concluded his remark, assuring that the light from Odera will never grow dim, that Anambra State will continue to grow in infrastructures, health, education and more. Mr Governor immediately after the funeral service spoke to press on the impactful life lived by Odera!

"He did his best, a little slip, workers going on strike and school remaining shut for a year, unfortunately, that became the narrative and noone was bold enough to able to put it right.This is the who actually met the state, the only time in our history history comparable to the kind of insecurity he met was what I met, although mine was on another level as territory were taken by criminal but during his time, arm robbers.
