Hilda Baci storms Guinness World Records' Headquarters in London

Former Guinness World Record holder and top Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, a has generated mixed reactions online by visiting the Guinness World Records offices in London.

Hilda was welcomed like a queen at the Guinness World Records headquarters at Canary Wharf, London's South Quay Plaza.


She took to her Instagram platform to share a video of herself having a wonderful time with the crew.

"@guinnessworldrecords called and I pulled," she wrote.

Recall that the 27-year-old lost her record after Guinness World Record announced an Irish chef Alan Fisher as the latest world record holder for 'The longest cooking marathon'


Congratulating Alan, Hilda wrote: "Just as Chef Lata respectfully acknowledged the new record holder by updating her bio and later fine-tuning the wording, I've adjusted mine too.


"Achieving such a record is no small feat, and I know this firsthand. I have only the greatest admiration for the hard work it took for Alan to reach such heights.


"Sportsmanship is about recognizing progress, whether the accolade is in my bio or not. I remain a record-holder in spirit and in history. Let's celebrate achievement and the spirit of competition.


"I'm so happy to have held a record so prestigious and profound that I will forever be honored and grateful for all the love and support."

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has told Igbos what to do if they want to see their embattled son and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, freed from detention. Tinubu Write To House of Reps, Seeking N500billion for Subsidy Paliatives.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written to the House of Representatives seeking the sum of N500 billion for palliatives to cushion the effect of the removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirits (PMS) popularly known as petrol. Tinubu in the letter also sought an amendment to the 2022 supplementary appropriation Act which will allow the Federal Government (FG) to source the money from the 2022 supplementary Appropriation Act of N819.5 billion. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, read the president's letter during plenary on Wednesday. FCT, Abuja - President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said 12 million families will get N8,000 over a period of six months to lessen the hardships faced by Nigerians as a result of subsidy removal. In a letter to the house of representatives read by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas during plenary on Thursday, July 13, Tinubu said it was support to enable poor and vulnerable Nigerians to cope with the cost of meeting basic needs. The letter was for approval of additional financing for the national social safety net programme scaled up by the national assembly.
