Ifon Orolu Celebrates Aare Yemi Adewale M'sbaudeen Adeshina,for His Elevation to the Rank of 'Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)'.
       It is currently a galore of exhilaration in Ifon Orolu,as various indigenes and lovers of the town,felicitate with their valiant,prolific and enviable Son of the Soil,Aare Yemi M'sbaudeen Adeshina,on his elevation,to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
        Barrister Yemi Adeshina was on 12th October,2023,approved,with other 57 legal luminaries like him,for elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN),by the Legal Practitioners' Privileges Committee (LPPC).

This is yet another colossal achievement for Ifon Orolu,as it has become the second time recently,that an indigenous legal luminary from the background would clinch the noble rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).This was precedented sometime ago,when Barrister Mahmud Kola Adeshina,a veteran legal luminary from the same town,was elevated to the similar position.

          The elated people of Ifon have now chosen to celebrate this rare gem,Aare Yemi Adewale M'sbaudeen Adeshina,for adding to the value and prestige of the town,within and among her contemporaries.And,for laying worthy and positive legacies,which every young aspiring individual from the town can emulate.

Federal Government May Raise Minimum Wage to N200,000, to Take Decision Soon.

There are strong indications that the federal government is favourably disposed to raising the minimum wage to as high as N200k per month as demanded by the organised labour in the country. However, state governors are urging for caution while Anambra State governor Charles Soludo has been asked to chair a Technical Working Group (TWG) to resolve the issues and its various dimensions. LEADERSHIP gathered that the matter was discussed at the last month's National Economic Council (NEC) meeting and it was there that the Salaries, Incomes & Wages Commission made a presentation on how the federal government can meet up with the demand of N200,000 per month minimum wage. Ladoke Akintola University LAUTECH Bans All Students From Taking Cars To School.

Students of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso in Oyo State, have been barred from driving or bringing cars to the campus. The management of the institution also banned the use of tinted vehicles by staff members and students, adding that learner permits must be placed on the vehicles of beginner drivers. Unauthorized vehicles parked at various locations in the university are to be taken out with immediate effect. Registrar of the institution, Kayode Ogunleye said the decision was reached at a management meeting held on Wednesday, April 19. He said; "The University management at its regular meeting held, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, deliberated on the occurrence of traffic on the campus and decided as follows: "Vehicles owned by students are hereby banned from entering the university campus. He was asked how many seconds there were in a year and a half, he answered in about two minutes, 47,304,000. Again he was asked how many seconds a man has lived who is 70 years, 17 days and 12 hours old, he answered in a minute and a half 2,210,500,800.  One of the men was working out the problems on paper, and informed Fuller that he was wrong, because the answer was much smaller.
