Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has told Igbos what to do if they want to see their embattled son and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, freed from detention. In a Twitter post on Wednesday (yesterday ), Omokri said Kanu would regain his freedom if only the Igbos could play their cards right. The socio-political activist admonished the Igbo-speaking region to desist from violence and convert IPOB into a political party. According to him, there is more love for the Ndigbo than hatred. The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has ordered the Committee of the Chiefs of Defence Staff to immediately activate its standby force with all its elements.
