GWR: HILDA BACI GETS ONE-YEAR FREE FLIGHT TICKET.

The Guinness World Record-breaking Chef Hilda Baci has been rewarded with a one year free tickets for all her domestic travels by Dana Air. 


The Chief Operating Officer of Dana Air, Ememobong Ettete, announced this in a statement via its official Twitter handle on Tuesday.


Recall that Hilda surpassed the current world record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.


The 27-year-old started cooking on Thursday 11th May 2023 and surpassed India’s Lata Tondon who set the record with 87 hours 45mins in 2019.


Speaking on the development, Ettete assured that the company will always support the craft, creativity, efforts, and innovations of young Nigerians, who embody the true Nigerian spirit as a proudly Nigerian brand.

Ladoke Akintola University LAUTECH Bans All Students From Taking Cars To School.

Students of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso in Oyo State, have been barred from driving or bringing cars to the campus. The management of the institution also banned the use of tinted vehicles by staff members and students, adding that learner permits must be placed on the vehicles of beginner drivers. Unauthorized vehicles parked at various locations in the university are to be taken out with immediate effect. Registrar of the institution, Kayode Ogunleye said the decision was reached at a management meeting held on Wednesday, April 19. Nnamdi Kanu Will Be Freed But - Reno Omokri Tells Igbos What To Do.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has told Igbos what to do if they want to see their embattled son and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, freed from detention. In a Twitter post on Wednesday (yesterday ), Omokri said Kanu would regain his freedom if only the Igbos could play their cards right. NFG- Nigerian Federal Government Claims Spending Of $1.2m To Evacuate Nigerians From Sudan To Egypt.

The  Federal Government  has said that about $1.2m was used to evacuate the stranded  Nigerians  out of Sudan. The piece of information was disclosed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, during a briefing by State House correspondents at the end of the Federal Executive Council, FEC. According to the minister, the government provided security cover for the eight-hour journey from Luxol to Cairo and the eleven-hour trip from Aswan to Cairo, Egypt, and 40 buses to transport about 2,400 students from Sudan. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Onyeama, also noted that no Nigerian lost their lives in the conflict, and said there are no talks about alternative plans for continued  education for the evacuees, most of whom are students  of the University of Khartoum.
