Popular afrobeat and dancehall artist Davido has revealed that he had fears on releasing his new album, Timeless".

According to Davido, he felt that his latest album 'Timeless' was his last chance to deliver an acceptable album. Speaking as a guest on the recent episode of +44 podcast, Davido said he felt he would either be broken or pull through with his 17-track album.

Davido disclosed he told his team to leave one hour before his album was released, prayed and then slept. When he woke up after over 3hours, he got scared because he didn't see anyone celebrating his album.

"This is me telling myself the truth; this album was either going to make me or break me. People don't want to say it to me in my face. But everybody knows the truth about the situation that is happening in their life whether they want to lie to them or not.

Federal Government May Raise Minimum Wage to N200,000, to Take Decision Soon.

There are strong indications that the federal government is favourably disposed to raising the minimum wage to as high as N200k per month as demanded by the organised labour in the country. However, state governors are urging for caution while Anambra State governor Charles Soludo has been asked to chair a Technical Working Group (TWG) to resolve the issues and its various dimensions. Following the victory of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, at the Supreme Court, afrobeats star, Davido has announced plans to hold a musical concert in Osun State. We reported that the apex court on Tuesday affirmed Adeleke's victory in the July 12, 2022, governorship election in Osun State. Tricycle Driver Strung Up For Killing Passenger Over #50 In Bayelsa.

A keke driver has been lynched to death shortly after he stabbed a young man named Douglas Joseph to death over N50. According to reports the incident happened in Yenizue-Epie community of Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. The passenger who was stabbed by the Keke driver, Douglas Joseph, 30, was a native of the community and a father of three. According to an eyewitness, the keke driver charged the passenger a fare of N150 which was supposed to be N100. The passenger, Douglas did not agree to pay the fare and it ended in a fight.
