Al-Nassr: Saudi Arabia to twist marriage law for Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez

Saudi Arabia is reportedly set to twist its marriage law to allow Al Nassr's new signing, Cristiano Ronaldo, to live with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez in the country, according to Spanish news outlet Sport.

Saudi Arabia's marriage law prohibits couples that are not married from living together.

The report added that Ronaldo and Rodriguez will be living together in Saudi Arabia and are most likely not going to be punished for breaking the law.

Ronaldo recently signed for Al-Nassr after his contract with Manchester United was terminated in November.
The Portugal captain signed a contract with the Saudi Arabian outfit that would see him remain at the club until 2025.

The 37-year-old was officially unveiled as an Al-Nassr player this week.

Upon joining the club, Ronaldo promised to help not only develop the sport in Al-Nassr but Saudi Arabia as a nation.

In a video interview that went viral on Saturday, Joseph Aloba narrated, "I think the injection led to his death. Nigerian afrobeat singer and songwriter, Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari's administration for the hardship in the country. This is coming a few days after Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade lamented over the suffering of Nigerians. However, the 'It is what it is' crooner said the Buhari-led administration had done nothing other than waste eight years of Nigerians' lives. In a tweet, Adekunle Gold said the country has been in regression since the Buhari administration took over in 2015. "This current administration wasted 8 years of our lives. 8 years, we regressed as a nation,"  he wrote. Court Reinstated Ademola Adeleke as Governor of Osun State.

The appellate court sitting in Abuja has upheld Mr Ademola Adeleke Nurudeen as the governor of Osun State. Recall that the Osun State tribunal had sacked Adeleke as Governor months after his victory citing such issues as over-voting in 749 polling units in the 10 LG areas of the state. A three-member panel of justices decided in Adeleke's appeal on Friday, concluding that the election tribunal fell short in finding that Gboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress had established their claim of over voting. The court of appeal had faulted the tribunal for making a decision which was based on oral witness of alleged over voting as what is usually considered are the information on the BVAs and voter registration. In addition to overturning the tribunal's decision, the court gave the All Progressive Congress, APC, and its candidate Gboyega Oyetola N500, 000 in costs in its lead judgment, which was delivered by Justice Mohammed Lawal.
