Controversial Nigerian actress, Nkechi Blessing has disclosed why she twerked for the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi after being dragged online. 

The mother of one had stirred reactions on social media on Sunday following a video of her twerking for the monarch made waves.

Clarifying the dance, Nkechi Blessing revealed that she was losing the dance competition to a colleague, hence the reason she improvised with the twerking.


She further revealed that the dance landed her the second position and the sum of N250K from the Ooni of Ife.


“About yesterday’s judge’s dance competition as my Oga @fagboyobamidele don Dey win me I say make I improvise but las las I came second and walked away with 250k courtesy the king @ooniadimulaife May You live long sir..God bless you abundantly for putting smiles on d faces of millions” she wrote on Instagram moments ago,” she wrote.

A popular traditionalist, Abdulazeez Adegbola, a.k.a Tani Olohun, has pleaded with the Muslim community to forgive him for allegedly burning the Qur'an and defaming some Muslims in Kwara State. Tani Olorun made this plea while addressing the court after he was granted bail on Thursday, Nov. 16.
